Eugene Modern Quilt Guild General Meeting

March 10, 2021

Ken: Guild members are invited to attend a virtual workshop presented by Global Quilt Connection. Although all members may attend, the two-hour workshop is designed to encourage members with technology issues while meetings are virtual. The $25 flat fee covers all members who would like to attend the workshop. Dates are Sat May 22 or Sun May 23.

Ken: Please send show and tell email to the gmail account with individual photos instead of combining them together. It is easier to move them to folders.

Ken: There are two Calendar quilt blocks to choose from for April: A watering can (April showers)  or a rabbit and carrots

Bonnie: Introduced our next challenge called the “Museum Challenge”. Bonnie has compiled of list of museums, leaned heavily on modern art, and members will select a piece of art as inspiration for a project. The completed project will be shared at the June meeting. When sending a photo of your project, please include the art used as inspiration. Look for an email with links to the museums and have fun!
