Announcements:
We had 11 people in attendance at our Sunday Sept 8th Sew Day.
Our 2019 Quilt Retreat is coming up Oct 3-6. Final balance is due now. There are 18 members attending and one spouse also joining in. Should be fun!
2020 Charity Quilt blocks are due, please bring them to the retreat if you have not finished it, or want to make more. If not attending the retreat, contact Nela for how to send it to her. Here is a bunch that we have so far.
Bonnie shared that the December Eugene 1st Friday Art Walk with be including the Euphoria Chocolate Company downtown store and she would like to hang the traveling quilts for that event. The quilts which will be on display will be coordinated at the November meeting.
Bonnie also organized a charity quilt for Ballet Fantastique, including Sugar Skulls by Tula Pink. She distributed packets for members to sew and then drop off by Sept 30th at the Euphoria Chocolate Company Factory store, located at 4090 Stewart Rd.
2020 Board Elections will be voted on at the next meeting. Candidates currently are as listed:

Skill Demo by Ken: "Fast and furious binding demo"
Ken demonstrated a fun way to use glue to help with holding the binding in place. He also showed several different ways to apply the binding including samples of different stitching, as well as the use of accent piped binding.
