Wonky Pieced Letters
Presented by Kim O.
Let yourself play at making wonky letters! Just like when you were first learning to print your alphabet, learning to make letters in fabric takes some time and practice.
It's fun! Give it a go! Play with some fabric. Good for your brain to think how to form letters/numbers from the inside out. Write words, make your initials, include the year you made your quilt.

Look at "Word Play Quilts" by Tonya Ricci of Lazy Gal Quilting for more great ideas.
Fabric requirements: This is really going to vary for each person. Lynne of Patcherymenagerie suggests cutting lots of strips of varying widths to begin with. I think a few to start is a good idea. Making sure you have value difference is important: Dark and Light, so the letters will show.
