Elections were held during this meeting, 20 voting members cast their votes, ballots were collected and results are below with positions effective January 1, 2015:

SWAP ORGANIZER: Jessica Beaudet
BEE: Nela’s blocks of ½ triangles look fabulous! Fun variety of blocks. Oct Month: Kathy A. She distributed packets that included Halloween fabrics.
SWAP: Mug rug: fall or holiday themes. Lots of nice surprises and handwork.
For November: 3-D shapes or object…use your imagination!
There was also a drawing for a “The Men Behind the Quilts” calendar. Congrats Jayne!!!
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Board members, current and newly elected, will meet at McNail Riley house Wed Oct 15 at 5:30pm (prior to the sew in time) to meet and discuss roles/positions.
SEW-IN: Wednesday Oct 15, 6:30-8:30ish McNail Riley house. Free
SEW DAY: Saturday Oct 25 10am-5pm Our Sewing Room. Fee

Missy: 2 baby boy quilts for an ex-coworker who had twin boys.
Laura’s granddaughter Trinity: 2 quilts, one made when she was 8 yrs old, and another one designed by her and made when she was 10 yrs old. Good work Trinity!!

Kathleen: King size Bargello quilt, free motion quilt. WOW!
Jayne: Winding Waves, gold/burgundy quilt with fern pattern free arm quilting
Jill: small quilt with “burning technique”
Julie: hot pad mitten
Kelly: light blue improvisational log cabin quilt

Crystal: custom died fabric bowls, beautiful!, barnyard charm square quilt
