Lane County Fair textile submissions start  May 1 and close June 28, 2013.

Our own Nelda is the textile coordinator at the fair this year.  

Nelda also is looking for volunteers & some people to do demonstrations during the fair.

Kelly is offering to teach us EMQGuilders how to make a 
Scrappy Trip Around the World block!

See this tutorial at Quiltville blog. 

You will need:  Sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, seam ripper (A MUST), rotary cutter and ruler.   Of course your fabric...a minimum of 6 2-1/2 inch strips to make 1 block, more if you want to be ambitious and make more blocks.   

OSR has their new Studio Go! to cut the strips for you, so give that a Go!

Kelly will supply: Cutting mats, iron and ironing board.
