Events up NORTH!

Shameless quilt spam of a quilt I rescued last week for $30!!
I received the most wonderful invite from the PMQG's president Michelle.  She wrote:
"We have a few things going on that I wanted to tell you about:
PMQG stuff:
Our next meeting is Thursday, May 16th and you probably know that Quilt Market is in town that weekend. We have Jacquie Gering speaking (!!!) and Alissa Haight Carlton is also speaking about MQG membership. If you or any of your guild members would be interested in joining us please let me know. We have limited space, but I wanted to extend an invite, since it is a great opportunity to ask Alissa questions about membership.

We are also co-hosting a meet and greet Friday, May 17th at Modern Domestic. This is open to anyone and should be alot of fun. Then on Saturday, May 18th there is a MQG party at the Convention Center, which I believe is also open to anyone. Lots of stuff happening that weekend!

And (there is more!) we are co-hosting three classes at Modern Domestic. There is still space left in the class with Carolyn Friedlander on Monday May 20th. Here is the link

June Classes
We teamed up with PNCA to bring two weekend workshops to Portland June 29-30. They have extended a class discount ($100 off either of these classes) to ANY member of a MQG (this has nothing to do with MQG membership, just if you are part of a guild somewhere). We have a class with Cherri House and another with Eliza Fernand. Here are the links for members only. The regular website will have the more expensive classes.

The links for PMQG members to sign up for the workshops are live!

Save the date!
PNW Meet up Friday August 16th - 18th (Our guild meeting in on Thursday Aug 15th if anyone wants to come to that too)
We are hosing a fun weekend in Portland. Last year Seattle hosted this event with us and the Vancouver MQG. We are extending the invitations this year to you, Corvallis, Frasier Valley and Seattle and Vancouver again.

Thats it for now. Looking forward to connecting!
Michelle"
Workshops at PNCA are really fun... if you are at all interested this is a great price and a worthwhile experience.  I am going to connect with the PMQG and investigate the PNW meetup-- it is going to be really fun.  Email me (Jessica) if you are at all interested (and your level of interest) so I can begin to figure out logistics and things.

Have a Beautiful weekend!
